A short and fun Youth Day celebration in East View Secondary

It seems that July has come by. I did not expect that June holidays were over but this is how life is.
I guess I should manage my time wisely.

Anyway, I would like to make this post as short like others that I had done before.
During the school day, I thought it was going to be a normal day of absorbing knowledge for our academics but I heard that there were a Youth Day celebration occured during the third, fourth period and the break for every level of the school.
It were a game that included many luck and guessing skills to apply to it and a short performance performed by volunteers, staff of the school and a throngs of students that were selected to join the fun of the dance.
In my opinion, it was very good except for the negative impact of it.
If you want to know about it, well, to be honest, it brought distraction to the people that were near the performance whom were either studying, spending time with friends, enjoying the taste of the drink and food that they had purchased  and more.

Also, after the performance and I were sitting with my friends when a lady approached me.
If I can recall correctly, she had mention these:

Lady: Why're you looking serious, young man?
Me: Do I? Probably it's how I am.
Lady: Well, cheer up. It's Youth Day. And did you volunteered and danced with us earlier on?
Me: No. I didn't. I was busy eating and drinking during the performance.

So the lady left. It was a stranger to me as I do not know her at all but it was nice to have a conversation with a stranger and she was trying to cheer me up.  ( *sigh* )

I think I did not share a lot of examples as I could only remember the things and information that were essential than the event that had happened but I had enjoyed myself .

So till the next post arrive.
